Henry County Health & Rehabilitation actively performing Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Less than one percent of the over fifteen thousand skilled nursing facilities nationwide have achieved this accreditation.
This accreditation, presented by independent accreditor, Providigm, LLC, confirms that the center is continually assessing residents’ quality of life with regard to concerns (such as pain, dignity, respect for resident choice) and quality of care problems (such as weight loss, infections, rehabilitation following acute injury or illness, whether there are enough staff to meet resident needs, and prevention of readmissions to hospital).
“We congratulate Henry County Health & Rehabilitation on their commitment to improve the quality of life and care given to our seniors,” says Andrew Kramer, M.D., Chief Executive Officer at Providigm.
“Unlike other accreditation programs, Providigm’s QAPI Accreditation is based on actions that nursing centers take to proactively identify and correct quality problems. Through HCHR’s use of the abaqis Quality Management System, we are able to verify that HCHR is assessing their quality against federal regulations at an ongoing rate and correcting identified issues.”
